Ingredients

Golden Oreo cookies – These are the star of the show! You’ll need about 2 packages of golden Oreos (around 36 cookies) to create a satisfying batch.

Butter – 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted. This helps bind everything together while adding a rich, smooth flavor.

Cream cheese – 8 oz. (one package) of softened cream cheese. This adds a creamy, velvety texture that perfectly complements the crunchy cookies.

Powdered sugar – 1 cup to sweeten and bring everything together in a smooth, delightful filling.

Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon for a hint of warmth and sweetness to elevate the flavor.

White chocolate chips (optional) – 1/2 cup, if you want to drizzle or dip your golden Oreo treats for an extra layer of indulgence.

Sprinkles or toppings (optional) – Choose your favorites! Rainbow sprinkles, crushed golden Oreos, or even a dusting of powdered sugar make a beautiful final touch.

Instructions

Prepare the Oreo Base:

  • Start by crushing your golden Oreos. You can do this by placing them in a food processor or putting them in a plastic bag and gently smashing them with a rolling pin. Either way, you want them to be finely crushed—think crumbs, not chunks.
  • Pour the crushed Oreos into a mixing bowl.

Add the Butter:

  • Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Once melted, pour it over the crushed Oreos. Stir everything together until the Oreo crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture starts to clump together.

Make the Creamy Filling:

  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer for a smooth, creamy filling. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Once the mixture is creamy and smooth, fold in a handful of crushed Oreos for an extra burst of flavor.

Assemble the Treats:

  • Take a spoonful of the Oreo-butter mixture and press it into a lined baking pan or a tray. Use the back of the spoon to pack it down tightly so it forms a solid base.
  • Next, spread the creamy filling evenly over the base. Smooth it out with a spatula, making sure it covers the entire surface.

Chill and Set:

  • Place your pan in the fridge and chill for at least 1 hour. This helps the filling set and gives you the perfect consistency when you slice it later.

Optional – Add a Sweet Finish:

  • If you’re feeling extra indulgent, melt some white chocolate chips and drizzle it over the top for a decadent touch. You can also sprinkle crushed Oreos or colorful sprinkles for added texture and visual appeal.
